Help us increase awareness, fundraise and build a better community.

Habitat for Humanity of Washington County is thankful to our donors and volunteers who continually help us celebrate our success while advancing our mission to transform lives through affordable homeownership. As a non-profit, throughout the year we are involved in many events that help us increase awareness, fundraise and build a better community. One of those events is Heels and Hammers. Heartwarming, joyful, and always memorable, our events promise moments you will not soon forget. We hope to see you there.

Hammers and Heels Event

Stay tuned for our next event!
This edgy evening is traditionally held in the summer and offers some of the hottest bites, seductive sips and swankiest sounds in town.  It is a night out to remember benefiting one our most popular projects, the Women Build. The Habitat Women Build project challenges women to build a future for our community. 90% of all Habitat homes in Washington County are owned by single mothers. With this charity event, we’ll work together to actively address the problem of families in substandard housing – one house and one family at a time.

At Habitat for Humanity, we believe that no one lives in dignity until everyone lives in dignity. We believe that everyone, everywhere, should have a safe, affordable place to call home. At Habitat, we’re dedicated to building homes, but we also build communities, and a sense of hope. We empower families to help themselves.

Your donation to Habitat for Humanity of Washington County will help families break the cycle of poverty and build long-term financial security. With an affordable, stable home, families have more to spend on food, medicine, child care, education and other essentials. They become healthier, have better educational opportunities, and better job prospects. Your support can help us do more in all the many ways that Habitat builds.
